"Rush Hour" by Elaine Terranova p.644

I think that this poem is one that other's should read. It is not because I really enjoyed it although it is well written, it is more about what the poem is saying than about enjoyment. It is full of emotions that range from anger to sadness. The poem is one that makes one think about how people who suffer abuse must feel sometimes. I think the reason that this poem seemed to draw me in is because I was once in an abusive marriage, not as bad is in this poem but just as devastating.
