"The Black Cat" by Edgar Allan Poe

The story of the black cat was a little disturbing in the fact that anyone could possibly do that to a helpless animal. I did not enjoy this story very much even though it is well written. I felt sad and disgusted by the things the man did to the poor cat. I think that the man got what he deserved in the end after murdering that poor cat and his wife. He thought nothing wrong of the things he did really. He seemed to enjoy the cruelty towards the animals and his wife.
